Our Anti-Phishing Word Security System
Our Anti-Phishing Word Security System

In this article:
Protecting your privacy and security is a core part of how we operate.
Phishing attacks, fake emails, messages, or calls pretending to be trusted companies, are increasingly common in the Bitcoin space. These scams are often sophisticated and designed to create urgency, confusion, or misplaced trust.
To reduce this risk, we use a simple but powerful anti-phishing word system that allows you to verify with certainty whether a message from us is real.
This page explains how the system works and how to use it confidently.
Why Verification Matters
In Bitcoin, there is no customer support desk that can reverse mistakes.
Attackers know this. That is why phishing attempts often:
- Look professional and well-written
- Use familiar language or branding
- Ask you to act quickly
- Pretend to be helpful or urgent
The safest approach is not to guess, but to verify every time.
What Are Anti-Phishing Words?
When you become a contact with us, you are assigned a unique set of anti-phishing words.
For example:
Bank– Condor
These words:
- Are unique to you
- Are not reused for anyone else
- Act as a shared secret between you and us
Any legitimate direct communication from us will include your correct anti-phishing words.
If the words are missing or incorrect, the message is not from us.
How the System Works
- You receive your unique anti-phishing words These are sent to you once, when you become a contact.
- You store/remember them:
We recommend:
- A password manager
- A secure note
- An offline record
- You check every email from us
- No words, or wrong words means stop
- Do not reply
- Do not click links
- Do not share information
Instead, verify using our public contact details.
This creates a clear rule. The words are either correct, or the message is not authentic.
One Important Exception: Call Bookings
The only time you will not see your anti-phishing words is when you book a call with us.
We use Cal.com for scheduling calls, booking confirmations, and reminder emails. At this time, their system does not support inserting custom anti-phishing words into automated messages.
What this means:
- Booking confirmations and reminders may not include your words
- These messages are sent automatically by Cal.com
- They will never ask for sensitive information
For clarity:
- All direct communication from us, outside of scheduling, will include your anti-phishing words
- Only automated scheduling emails may not
If you ever receive a non-scheduling message claiming to be from us that does not include your words, treat it as suspicious.
What We Will Never Ask For
Even in verified messages, we will never ask you for:
- Seed phrases
- Private keys
- Wallet passwords
There is no legitimate reason for anyone to request these.
If a message asks for them, it is a scam regardless of context.
What To Do If Something Feels Off
If you receive a message that:
- Claims to be from us
- Is missing your anti-phishing words outside of scheduling
- Uses incorrect words
- Feels urgent or unusual
Pause and verify.
